Letters to Hachi

Dear Hachi,

you lived miles away from me but I can feel your story right here in my

home. when I watched the movie about your life I couldn't help but wonder

the cold, wet, dry nights you had to live through. living alone and having to

eat scraps. hachiko...meaning good fortune, really defined your whole life.

living on the street or from one home to another I know I would have died

no less then a year. your a very strong dog being able to live that long. I

hope to be as strong as you hachiko...meaning good fortune.

                                                 sincerely, Kaitlin

Dear Hachiko,

you look so adorable! and by what I hear you're an amazing dog. I never heard about your story until today and I was blown away by your loyalty. you really know how to bring tears to someone's eyes.my eyes to be honest. well I wish I could have met you. and I hope you're happy and living in paradise with your owner up in heaven.

let your loyalty stay true, karma

 Dear Hachiko,

you are an inspiration to me and are a loyal friend and dog. your story

gave me encouragement that no matter how hard my life gets I can't give

up to find what or who I need in order to be happy. I feel a connection to

you because I was once lost to the people I care for. there's no one who

would understand me like you did at the time of your crisis. thank you so

much for showing me true loyalty.

                             with kindness, David Quintero-Ochoa

Dear Hachi,

Hey precious one. Oh how nice it is to pick up a stray dog

and have him as loyal as you was with your owner. You was

part of the family. You was such a loyal dog that you came back

for your owner back and back and waited for him to return home

from work was so amazing from your part. Then after his depart from this

world you continued to wait for him at the same spot as always.

Everyone got to know whom you are and the reason for your wait.

Many felt in love with you and your courage of support and wisdom

that it just makes me feel and wish, " All dogs should be as loyal

and courageous as you. Seeing your statue at the very spot

where you encounter many of the publics love is a symbol of

remembrance that all animal should be love and cared for as

you  loved and cared for your owner. Great life buddy.

                                             Sincerely Katherine
